We have a lot of go-to authors, but few have captured our hearts and reader-brains like Guy Gavriel Kay. In fact, he was the only author on our 10th anniversary list to get an “approval” from all seven current and historical QTL members. That’s a high honor. I’m personally new to the GGK canon. I read Sailing to Sarantium and Lord of Emperors in the past six months and adored the series. Look out for my review of the former on June 3, and my review of the sequel coming in July.
